Gymnastics Show

The kids were totally excited about their gymnastics show tonight! We were seated in bleachers, and the kids performed out on a big mat area. Each class performed a coordinated routine. Ben is easy to spot in his orange shirt. Sarah's group decided to wear all black and walked out to Pink Panther music. In the tower, Sarah is stretched out at the bottom in front with her arms out wide. We were thankful to one of her classmates, also named Sarah, for loaning her the black outfit for the show.

Gymnastics Girl

Sarah has joined gymnastics class this quarter. Ben has done two quarters this year, but Sarah's schedule was overloaded, so we held her off until this last session. She is in level 3, and is preparing to do a fancy backwards roll in this photo. She really likes her teacher, Kati. We think Kati has done a great job of motivating Sarah to push herself to try new things.
