Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone! We enjoyed a relaxing day with an Easter Egg hunt, and some quality family time. Of course they had some candy in the eggs with a few other treats. It was fun to hide them. Sarah's thought, "Every year we watch and nobody goes to hide the eggs. You just call us to go outside with our baskets and they are already hidden." Isn't is nice to have some mystery with the holidays?

One new thing this year was using the resurrection eggs as part of our worship time. Becky picked them up after hearing about them for a couple of years, plus the book, "Benjamin's Box," which accompanies the eggs nicely. Each egg contains a symbol to reflect on the time of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. We would recommend both since the whole family enjoyed the lessons and using the eggs. Hope you had some Easter joy in your home too!
