Becky's friend, Jan, is putting forth a great effort to encourage Becky while Sarah is at camp. We stopped by her house for a few minutes, and while the moms were visiting, Ethan wanted to show Ben a dead snake outside. Ben asked if he could take the camera to get a picture. It seemed like a fine idea, and we were clear they were not to bring the snake into the house. We continued to visit and managed to solve several major world issues in a short time.
The surprise came later when looking at the pictures on the camera. We found quite a few photos of the boys posing with the snake and positioning the snake in all sorts of settings. Hmmm... Guess we could have been a little more involved in what they were doing with the snake. I have a feeling if Sarah was here, she would not have posed with the snake. We have not found any snakes around our home since we've lived here, so this was unusual for Ben.
