Our time at NASA came to an end so quickly. We would probably have tried to stay longer if they would have just stayed open for us. The kids ended the day at the Kids Space Place. Let's just say it was a BLAST! Ha Ha! Everyone said it was great and we'd go back again in a heartbeat. I was wishing Heidi could have been with us, but I suppose someone has to be responsible and get some work done.
We decided to go touch the Gulf of Mexico, or at least some water that sort of touched the Gulf of Mexico, since we were so close. James was the first one out of the car and hurried to touch the water, and convinced a fairly reluctant Ben to touch it too. After this adventure, we capped off the day with a trip to IHOP and then a long drive home in the dark.
