Heading home from the park and pool, we drove through the middle of Austin to catch a glimpse of the state Capital. It was very nice, although we only looked at it while stopped at a red light! Elizabeth had been there on a field trip with Pathfinders, and shared many interesting facts with us. Did you know the dome is actually taller than our national Capital? I'm sure it is part of the everything bigger in Texas philosophy.
Back at home, we gave the cousins and uncle the balloon t-shirts Sarah had designed for the contest she won in May. They were all excited to have a famous cousin. :) It was also fun to think they could all match later on the trip.
