Softball? Tennis? Ping Pong?

We came out to a "softball" game with several other families from our church. Little did we know, our pastor had something up his sleeve. He had two buckets. One was near home plate, and was full of various batting items: baseball bat, ping pong paddle, tennis racket, etc. Then by the pitcher, there was another bucket with choices for the pitcher: kickball, softball, ping pong ball, tennis ball, etc. There was no guarantee what the pitcher would send your way.

It was a real heartbreaker of a game with the kids against the parents. Somehow the kids were able to win the game. Becky was able to get by the second base players in spite of their questionable methods. After the game, we all cooled off with some ice cream! What an unusual evening...
